Pilot JESB Self Belief Mentors Scheme Launches

At the heart of the Jamal Edwards Self Belief Trust is a commitment to empowering young people with barriers to employment with the tools, confidence, and opportunities to thrive. In honour of Jamal’s legacy of championing untapped talent and nurturing potential, Self Belief Mentors is designed to connect emerging creatives, entrepreneurs, and changemakers with experienced mentors who share their passions and values.

Our pilot 8 month mentorship programme will pair 10 ambitious young individuals (aged 18–25) with leading professionals across music, media, business, tech and social impact. Each mentor will provide one on one guidance, industry insight, and practical support to help mentees set clear goals, overcome challenges, and unlock their potential through Self Belief. We will utilise passionate creatives from Jamal’s network to support this pilot programme and help build the next generation of Self Believers.
