Reece Placid is the people’s champion, an inspiring athlete with a powerful story.
He has a real passion for designing and has his own clothing brand called Believe & Achieve. It’s allowed him to travel the world and part with his profits with those who are less fortunate. He is a youth mentor in the local community and overseas, travelling to and from countries in Africa to see his mentees. He has real passion and purpose to make a difference in the community. Having lived experience, he has a real, deep understanding of today’s society and issues. He is willing to do all he can to be a part of the change.
Reece also played football at a high level, living in different countries throughout his career. After realising he has a gift for helping people, he returned to England to become the youth mentor for the borough of Croydon in the community and all Oasis schools. He is a real leader and loves to inspire and build up others.
Reece sat on the board for CSJ and played a big part in their annual research report based on young people of today. Reece is a youth ambassador for Street Soccer Foundation, not only does he do work in the community, he works in several prisons serving and helping them grow through mentoring and sports days. He also does talks in schools and at businesses to give knowledge not only on business but also motivation and inspiration.
